For production freelancers and the producers who book them

The hold system, fixed.

First holds, second holds, challenges. The whole industry runs on them, and right now they live in your inbox, your texts, and your memory. Know exactly where every date stands, and never lose a booking to a hold that went quiet.

The problem

You know this dance.

A producer pencils you in for three weeks. Another one calls about the same dates. Now you're writing the awkward challenge email, waiting on a reply that decides your month, and scrolling back through texts to figure out who actually has first hold.

Every freelancer and producer in motion, edit, and post runs this system from memory and vibes. It mostly works. Right up until it costs someone a booking, and it always eventually does.

How it works

The rules everyone already plays by. Actually written down.

01

Your holds, on one board

Every hold in one place: who, which dates, what rate, what status. First hold, second hold, challenged, confirmed, released. No more inbox archaeology at 11pm.

02

Producers never log in

Hard rule. A producer places a hold right on your availability link, then confirms or releases it with one tap from an email. No account, no password, nothing new to learn. It lands on your board by itself.

03

The challenge clock

Someone challenges a first hold and the clock starts. The holder gets 24 to 48 hours to confirm, or the hold flips to the challenger. Automatically. No awkward chasing, no dates in limbo.

One more thing

One link that answers "what's your avail?"

Share a live availability page that shows available, held, and booked. Client names stay private. A producer can place a hold on open dates right from the link, and it shows up on your board without you lifting a finger. Second producer on the same dates? They get offered 2nd hold or a challenge, automatically. And holds that go stale get a nudge before they cost you: "Your hold on Josh expires Friday. Confirm or release."
